Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP

Screen-Shot-2012-07-24-at-1.59.16-PM

Perhaps most well-known among associate circles for its Cali vibe and casual dress code, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan is anything but laid-back when it comes to representing its clients. One of the few firms to practice only litigation, it’s one of the most successful at it, both in terms of outcomes and revenue. Founded in 1986, the firm today has over 800 attorneys in 23 offices located in 10 countries across four continents. To date, the firm has handled over 2,300 trials and arbitrations with an impressive 88% success rate, and as of 2016, it generated more revenue from litigation and arbitration than any other firm in the world. The firm’s list of litigation clients is a who’s who of global corporations, who keep coming back, at least in part, because of the firm’s willingness to tackle the most difficult and complex cases, often on contingency.
