Top 50 Biglaw Firm Offers Major Bonuses In Major Market Offices
Associates seem happy with their bonus haul this year.
With Hannukah nearly midway through and Christmas just around the corner, Biglaw bonus season is still going strong. The largest of law firms continue to announce matches of the prevailing market rates, and this top 50 firm is no different. Bonuses at Perkins Coie are majority lockstep, and for most associates, it seems as if the firm is following where the market leads (depending on office).
The Seattle-based firm brought in $1,155,565,000 gross revenue in 2021, putting it in 42nd place on the most recent Am Law 100 ranking. Here’s what the bonus scale looks like at the firm’s major market offices:
- Class of 2021: $20,000
- Class of 2020: $30,000
- Class of 2019: $57,500
- Class of 2018: $75,000
- Class of 2017: $90,000
- Class of 2016: $105,000
- Class of 2015: $115,000
- Class of 2014+: $115,000
According to the firm’s internal announcement, some major market offices will have a bonus range for sixth-year associates and beyond, while offices located outside of major markets will have their own bonus schedules.
Congratulations on the extra bonus cash, everyone!
