Biglaw Firm Carves Out Extra Bonus Cash For 'Exceptional' Associates
Congrats on the hefty bonuses!
What better way to pass a Friday afternoon than gawking at Biglaw bonuses?
Akin Gump, a firm that took in $1,220,204,000 in gross revenue last year making it #38 on the Am Law 100, announced their bonuses this week. And as per the prevailing expectations, they matched the market bonuses making their way through Biglaw.
The bonus grid is as follows:
“Exceptional” performance will be rewarded with even bigger bonus numbers.
The firm’s productivity expectation is 1950 hours which includes a variety of billable and non-billable activities. Bonuses will be paid in February. You can read the full memo on the next page.
