Kinney Recruiting is assisting its client, a prominent Am law 200 firm with Midwestern roots, to find a lateral labor and employment partner with higher education experience for its growing Washington, D.C. office. The firm boasts a reputation of providing a laid back and collegial environment while providing sophisticated and exceptional legal advice to its clients. The firm's Higher Education group has represented more than 80 institutions on issues ranging from labor and employment matters, such as Title IX and immigration matters to providing advice to academic leaders on IP protection, real estate transactions, project development and cybersecurity. The client will consider Counsel level attorneys or Partners with modest books of portable business of at least $350k.
