Senior IP In-house Counsel (Brand Protection, E-Commerce Company, Mandarin)

Our client is one of China's largest e-commerce platforms and is US-listed.   Based in its Shanghai headquarter, the growing company is looking for a Senior In-house Counsel with 7+PQE to lead the platform's global IP protection matters.  The ideal candidate should have obtained relevant experience on brand protection/IP enforcement covering more than one country from a strong IP team in private practice or with a global brand.  Language-wise, you need to be native in Mandarin and speak/write very good English and be very comfortable to deal with the overseas government and law firms.  You would report to the management covering global strategy, an ex-senior lawyer from a top US firm.   The company is a unicorn with its ambition to expand outside China.  An attractive salary is on offer for the right candidate.  CV to asia@kinneyrecruiting.com
