Private Equity / Venture Capital In-house Legal Counsel (5+ PQE)

A newly-established mid-size private equity house with one US and one RMB dominated fund in place backed by a leading PRC game producer/media company is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Legal Counsel for its team based in Shanghai. The ideal candidate should have: - PRC LLB degree obtained from a reputable PRC law school - PRC Bar Qualification- Solid in China law practice in mergers and acquisitions/PE/VC investment in China Targets - At least five years of experience obtained from a leading PRC law firm; can lead in such deals mentioned above- Good Chinese and English drafting skills The fund raises funds mainly from overseas LPs and targets its investments in the TMT companies in China.   This role reports to the fund's GC and needs to take the lead in PRC deals. The office is located in the Jing'an Temple area in Shanghai.   Base salary plus 3-6 months of bonus is on offer. Please contact us immediately at asia@kinneyrecruiting.com or call us on +852.3973.3845 for more details.
