Kinney Recruiting is working with a publicly traded clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company in its search for a Legal Counsel to sit in its Rockville, Maryland office. The company is committed to the discovery, development, and commercialization of novel or highly differentiated biologics to treat diseases with significant   medical needs, particularly cancers and autoimmune disorders. The company's mission is to bring transformational medicines to patients through innovation.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of legal experience.  The successful candidate will be able to work at all levels of the Company and should have a strong background in healthcare/pharmaceuticals. You should be able to provide sound legal advice on a broad range of strategic areas, including M&A, licensing, corporate securities, commercial, privacy, regulatory, and employment, providing support for both the US and global business. You must be diligent and proactive, and show excellent business judgment and strategic thinking, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced team environment. The position comes with a competitive compensation package including a generous base, bonus, and options.
