General Counsel – Atlanta or Milwaukee

Here is the role you have been looking for - a General Counsel opportunity with an established company of over 2400 employees nationwide! This is a new role and the sky's the limit. Our client is a highly regarded and successful company in the electrical and mechanical contracting and construction space. You will report directly to the CFO and will be helping to craft the legal team moving forward. Exemplary candidates will have 8+ years experience with construction/contracting law and contracts - negotiating and drafting. This will be a balance of legal work and contributing to operational excellence. A key focus will be to assist in streamlining the four independent business units and gathering under one umbrella. Our client wants to double in size by 2030 and fully expect to do so. This is an amazing growth opportunity and this is a highly visible role where you will be completely supported by the leadership team, with whom you will have significant interaction. The compensation consists of a $200k -$210k base, cash bonus ($250k, with some flexibility up to $280k all in, for the spot on candidate) plus stock participation.
