Senior Transactional Tax Attorney

Our client, a reputable midwestern law firm, is looking for a senior associate, counsel, or lateral partner to join the firm’s tax practice in Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The ideal candidate should have more than five years of experience representing closely-held businesses and tax-exempt organizations in federal, state, and local transactional tax matters.  The attorneys in our client’s tax practice represent clients in a wide range of issues, including mergers and acquisitions, tax credit financings, 1031 exchanges, real estate transactions, formation of tax-exempt organizations, and matters pertaining to institutions of higher education.  The partners are open to candidates with all or some of the above experience.The tax partners are considering lateral associate, counsel, or partner candidates with portable business.   This firm has a reputation for a collegial and laid-back environment and a modest billable hour expectation.  For confidential consideration, please email jobs@kinneyrecruiting.com.
