Legal Counsel for Public Trust Company

A public trust company in Cheyenne, Wyoming, has retained Kinney Recruiting on a search for a Legal Counsel to oversee all legal matters pertaining to the public trust. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in estates and trusts law, especially pertaining to very high net-worth individuals and families. A strong foundation in corporate law is also essential, as this person will oversee all corporate matters, including corporate governance, compliance, commercial contracts, and others. The most important traits, however, is the ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis and the desire to work in a "start-up" culture.  We are interested in speaking with candidates with at least five (5) years of experience working at a public trust and/or a law firm's trusts & estates practice.  Admission to the Wyoming bar, or eligibility to be admitted, is required.  The candidate can sit in Cheyenne or work remotely a reasonable distance from Cheyenne, such as in Denver, Salt Lake City, Park City, or Jackson.
