Legal/Senior Legal Counsel/Head of Legal, International Business  Location: Beijing (preferred)/Shanghai/Shenzhen Post Qualification Experience required: 7+ Bar Qualification: US/PRC/England & Wales Industry: Food, Drug and Medical Device Regulatory/Healthcare Responsibilities? As the Legal Counsel covering the international business, you will advise on a broad range of its overseas corporate, governance, regulatory, IP and investment matters, and provide effective, business-focused legal advice to a high-energy, fast-growing team across organizational lines.  Your responsibilities will include working with the external counsels on the following:
General corporate law in a target jurisdiction; review and negotiate the commercial contracts regarding purchase and sales agreement, service agreement, JV contract, MOU, NDA, employment and etcFood and Drug Law in a target jurisdiction;IP law relating to brand protection (trademark, patent);International corporate governance, including intra-company agreements and management of subsidiaries;Compliance and related policies; andCollaboration on ad-hoc projects.
Education and Language:

PRC LLB and overseas LLM or an overseas JD degree holderA fluent speaker of English and Mandarin
Qualifications:

A minimum of 7 years of legal experience (with at least 3 years with a leading international firm based outside of China), having played a senior role in a law firm or in-housePrior experience advising on food and drug laws is highly preferredA fast learner with demonstrated accountability and keen ability to meet tight time linesAble to make decisions quickly but also seek guidance when appropriate.Personal integrity, sound judgment and strong ethics in business and personal conduct.Excellent oral and written English skills required.Excellent organizational and analytical skills required.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  Compensation:  Offering attractive base and bonus schemes plus share options (options - optional, based on the individual’s experience and performance)
