Senior In-house Lawyer (8+ PQE) with Blockchain Exposures

An advisory private equity house with North America, Middle East, and China presence is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to lead its in-house legal team in Beijing. You have three in-house lawyers to support you; and you report to the deal team and the founder, who is a former Partner at a US firm in New York. The role has to be based in Beijing, and you must have native Mandarin speaking skills. You need to have obtained an overseas legal qualification and have obtained 8-14 years of experience in private practice or in-house positions. You must have at least 3 years of experience with international law firms on M&A practice. You will draft English legal documents and communicate/negotiate with the English native speaking deal team members overseas. Preferably you should have covered M&A, PE, VC, IPO, fund formation or pre-IPO restructuring matters.
