We recently got a call from some of our favorite partners in the Dallas market who are looking for some talent. Given how much we like this client, we’re dropping (almost) everything to help them find several stellar midlevel associates (JD 2017-2019) to join the firm’s gilded Private Equity Group. The firm itself is a Vault 15 international law firm with a thriving and long-tenured Dallas office, and the Private Equity Group spans the Dallas, NYC, Boston and California markets with 20+ partners spread evenly throughout.

Aside from very top of the market (Cravath Scale) compensation, a no billable hours requirement, a work distribution process that fairly protects and engages associates, a very collegial group of lawyers who have practiced together for decades in some cases, and all the mentoring and advancement opportunities a BigLaw associate could ever ask for, the work this practice offers is an enticing mix of LBOs, growth equity, GP-led secondaries and special situations transactions for banner clientele.
Candidates will be entrusted with extensive client contact and be on the front lines of structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex acquisitions and divestitures across a variety of industries including technology (software), food and beverage, and industrial transactions, amongst others. This practice group has a stellar track record of elevating its associates to partner.
