Book Of Business: Meet A King & Spalding Partner

A leading dealmaker shares some secrets of his success.

Welcome (back) to Book of Business, the Biglaw-focused podcast that I host with veteran legal recruiter Robert Kinney, Founder and President of Kinney Recruiting. We realize that some time has passed since our last episode, but it’s for good reason: the legal recruiting business is booming right now, and my globe-trotting co-host hasn’t been easy to schedule over the past few weeks.

To make up for the hiatus, we recently recorded two episodes. We’re releasing one now, and we’ll release the second next week.

In this week’s episode, reflecting Robert’s international travels, we’re joined by a great guest from overseas: Mario Leissner, founder and Managing Partner of the Frankfurt office of King & Spalding. Mario shares some of the insights that have helped him develop an eight-figure book of business, as well as his thoughts on how the changing political environment in Germany might affect the European economy and legal market.

If you’re a partner at a leading law firm who might be interested in joining us on Book of Business, please feel free to email me and Robert Kinney, subject line “Book of Business.” I can be reached at dlat@abovethelaw.com, and Robert Kinney can be reached at robert@kinneyrecruiting.com.
