Baker McKenzie has a whole lot of associates to keep happy. So we’ve been very interested in tracking when the mammoth firm would join the rest of the market in offering special bonuses. Well, they’re here.

Not that we’re necessarily blaming Baker McKenzie for taking so long. It takes a while to count up the partnership votes when you’ve literally got thousands of stakeholders. That’s probably why they got a head start on annual bonuses last year and then lagged a bit in approving the first tranche of special bonuses.

But they’re out now. Let’s see what we’re dealing with:

So June and January. There’s a catch-up opportunity for those that are behind by the May date.
