Rudy Giuliani's Lawyer Swears His Client Isn't A Drunk
Because America's Mayor would never do such a thing.

Mayor Giuliani denies the allegation. Talk to other people that were there that night and they will corroborate the Mayor. You might be interested to know that the Select Committee staff counsel never inquired about this subject. I wonder why? They never asked whether he had a single drink. No discussion whatsoever.
— Robert Costello, attorney for Rudy Giuliani, in a statement given to USA Today regarding testimony given by former Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller on the second day of the House’s January 6 hearings. Specifically, Miller said he thought that Giuliani was “definitely intoxicated” when he reportedly told former President Donald Trump to declare victory on Election Night, before all the votes had been counted. Bill Stepien, former Trump campaign manager, concurred with Miller, saying it was “far too early” to make such an announcement. Giuliani later responded on Twitter, stating that he was “disgusted and outraged” by Miller’s and Stepien’s “out right [sic] lie.” He concluded his statement with the following: “I REFUSED all alcohol that evening. My favorite drink..Pepsi.” Giuliani has since deleted that tweet.
