Sobriety At 62, Some Thoughts

There's only one prerequisite to recovery.

Looking back at the past four decades in addiction and recovery, one thing stands out: my best years are ahead of me. Yours can be as well. If you’re struggling, reach out. If you know someone, practice the two-ask rule: 1. How are you doing? 2. Do you know that you can come to me if you want to talk?

There is only one prerequisite to a full life in recovery. Be above ground.
